Year-round planning

Tax advisory that works all year, not just in April

Quarterly planning, deduction review, and structure decisions for owners and individuals in The Woodlands and Greater Houston — so filing season is a formality instead of a surprise.

Advisory is worth it if

  • Your income swings noticeably from year to year
  • You owe money every April
  • You are an LLC or S-corp owner paying yourself
  • You own rental or investment property
  • You are deciding between structures or retirement plans
  • Your refund swings wildly and nobody can explain why

What advisory includes

  • Quarterly estimated-payment planning
  • Entity and structure review (LLC, S-corp, C-corp)
  • Deduction and credit substantiation before year-end
  • Owner compensation and reasonable-salary review
  • SEP, SIMPLE, and retirement contribution strategy
  • Multi-year projections and cash-flow modeling
  • Life-event planning: marriage, home sale, inheritance, relocation
  • Multi-state and out-of-state exposure checks

How it works

  1. Step 01

    Baseline review

We read your last three returns and your current books, then show you exactly where the money is going and what is costing you.

  2. Step 02

    Written plan

You receive a short written plan: what to elect, what to set aside, what to document, and what to change before December 31.

  3. Step 03

    Quarterly check-ins

A short call each quarter keeps estimates honest and lets us adjust before a decision becomes expensive.

  4. Step 04

    Year-end true-up

In December we confirm the plan held, capture what is still deductible, and make sure the return we file matches the plan we wrote.

Questions owners ask

Do I need advisory if someone already files my return?
That is usually the point. Filing records what already happened; advisory changes what is about to happen. Many clients keep their preparer and add planning, or move both here.
How often do we meet?
A baseline session, then a short call each quarter and a year-end true-up. Most owners spend under two hours with us a quarter.
Can you work with my bookkeeper or CPA?
Yes. We coordinate with your existing professionals and can take over only the planning side if that is what you want.
What does it cost?
Advisory is a flat engagement, quoted after the baseline review, based on entity count and complexity — not on how much time you spend on the phone.
